Merry Christmas to all!

I kinda like the idea that Jesus and Joseph were carpenters. Of course I have some friends who would be quick to point out that He hung around with fishermen :)

I'm not sure what your take on that is, but I do hope that the Spirit of Christmas is alive in your part of the world, and that you will find the joy and peace that I believe God intended for this season.

By the way I heard someone talking the other day about how peaceful it must have been at the first Christmas, you know around the manger with the little baby Jesus and all. I'm not so sure about that. If all the hotels and motels were so packed that the Son of God had to be born in a manger how peaceful could Bethlehem have really been? SO if yours is a little crazy, kinda hectic maybe, it might not be that far from what Mary and Joseph were feeling amongst the kritters (sheep, camel and goats)the visitors (the three wise guys and shepherds who'd come out of the hills to see what was going on) and the angels.

Maybe when Jesus was born it all stopped for just a little while? Maybe we can all stop for a little while on Christmas morning. Hope yours is blessed.
